Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $78,000.00 - $117,500.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
As an IT Project Manager, you will facilitate the prescribed Agile, Scrum or Kanban Ceremonies to ultimately deliver commitments from cross-functional teams. You will maintain dedication to basic Agile principles, schedules, budgets, team capacity and transparency in communication and reporting and will serves as the resident mentor on topics of Project Management Best Practices and Agile Principles for the team.
Essential Functions
- Lead medium to large scale IT Projects to meet business and technology scope and strategy
- Develop skills of teams and facilitate Agile Ceremonies, maintaining focus on their purpose and objectives
- Prepare and deliver various levels of reporting for varying audiences
- Manage, read, and take action on standard Agile metrics
- Manage the development and release schedules and plans
- Develop, coach and mentor peers on Agile principles
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Intermediate knowledge of agile methodology, including best practices
- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of strategic project planning and execution
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with multiple IT areas and business partners
- Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
- Intermediate to Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 4+ years of Agile/Scrum methodology experience required
- 4+ years of Waterfall methodology experience required
- 2+ years of information technology experience required
- Experience in the financial services industry preferred
- Agile Practices Certification (APA) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

At Commerce, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $78,000 to $117,500 annually. Depending on the job level, this position may be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
