IT Project Manager

Expedient is hiring for an IT Project Manager. This role is responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction during the building and installation of client cloud solutions and services. Success in this role relies heavily on the Project Managers ability to plan, communicate, and set clear expectations with everyone involved. 

Sponsorship is not provided for this role. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Manage new installations and large service expansions including data center, network connectivity, and virtualization technologies 

• Work with clients to migrate their existing environments into new shared public, and/or private dedicated platforms 

• Effective communication skills that will facilitate completion of projects including, but not limited to: 

• Post-sale design and migration planning meetings engineering resources and the client 

• Estimated revenue forecasting based on project milestones 

• Maintain accountability for changes to the project scope including development and execution of project change requests 

• Ensure appropriate documentation is generated and maintained through project life cycle 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelors’ degree in technical discipline, preferred 

• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in an Information Technology field 

• Experience managing projects encompassing any of the following technologies or disciplines: 

• Data Center migrations 

• Network provisioning and cutovers 

• IT service & software implementations 

• Agile/ SCRUM Project Management

REQUIRED SKILLS 

• Ability to prioritize and be productive in a fast-paced environment 

• Ability to manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously 

• Strong understanding of project management life-cycle 

• Strong customer service and negotiation skills 

• Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Flexibility to be available for occasional night and weekend implementation projects, when required 

Salary for this position will be directly related to your own technical experience and skill. The estimated range is $80,000 to $110,000 annually.
