Job Summary:

In this non-technical role, the BeyondTrust IT Project Manager will assist in creating a scoped plan for different projects within the IT organization, defining deadlines and holding teams accountable.  They will assist in tracking quarterly goals and liaise with other IT leaders to ensure their individual projects move forward at an acceptable pace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Create and monitor the daily progress of projects 
• Provide detailed updates to IT Leadership
• Ensure the team members have the resources they need to complete their assigned tasks on time, flagging and acting on needs as they are raised
• Planning meetings and organizing project logistics
• Assist in managing team goals, and scheduling resources for different features
• Direct project correspondence by preparing memos, meeting minutes and emails
• Create long and short-term plans including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
• Serve as a single point of contact for IT quarterly projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a focus in technology, or equivalent of 4 years of experience in the project management domain
• Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships through communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
• Team-management and leadership skills
• Documentation management skills and ability to use cloud-based tools
• Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of change management

Desirable Skills but not Required

• 1 – 2 years IT Project Management Experience
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Awareness of terms used in relation to technology stacks a modern security focused business may use
• Completed project management certification, or working towards completion
