IT Project Manager

IT Project Manager (Smith & Nephew, Inc., Pittsburgh, PA): Collaborate with the team responsible for the design and maintenance of the software toolchain that enables software development of projects of simple to moderate complexity to ensure toolchain enables code review, unit testing, and automated system testing. Ensure seamless movement of software through these different stages and promotion of software once these quality gates are passed at the required level. Ensure the voices of stakeholders from every sector are not only accepted but encouraged through brainstorming and presentation series. Keep all departments in the loop on both framework design and DevOps culture. Work with the quality and validation team to generate new or revise current specifications and procedures when needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or other related field, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or related role. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or other related field, plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related role.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

• Docker, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory.
• Scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
• CI/CD pipelines such as JIRA, GIT, Crucible, Jenkins, Bamboo, or Artifactory.
• IT infrastructure and networking concepts.
• Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Business analysis.

80% Telecommuting permitted in Pittsburgh, PA area.

Must be willing and able to travel up to 5% (90% domestic; 10% international) to visit customers and assist with projects.
