IT Project Manager

Amentum is currently seeking an IT Project Manager to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.

You will be a part of a team that department architects, designs, and develops software systems and solutions for mission programs. These solutions enable many mission-critical activities in all phases of a customer's product lifecycle

As a member of the team, you will:

• Oversee scope, cost, and schedule of a Mission project; time will be spent working on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects.
• Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project.
• Expected to provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.
• The projects will typically use agile methods.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have an EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Clearance.
• SAFe Certified Scrum Master
• Release Train Engineer Certified
• Candidate must have Project Management or ScrumMaster experience supporting Agile IT Projects adhering to standard guidelines and processes.
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• This position is 100% remote from any location in the continental U.S., but selected applicant will be required to travel to various client sites 4 times per year.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Agile certification
• Active DOE Q clearance or DOD Top Secret
