Abiomed is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team and lead the planning, implementation, and tracking of a variety of IT related projects. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders, and experience managing projects in a technical environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage stand ups and planning sessions for monthly releases.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and Business Analysts.
• Develop project plans and oversee all project activities on a day-to-day basis to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
• Serve as interface between the business stakeholders and the IT team. Effectively communicate project expectations, progress and changes
• Apply project management methodology and enforce project standards
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies
• Participate in key meetings with business teams including requirement sessions, system demos and user acceptance testing.
• Track project lessons learned and share with team members.
• Provide regular status updates for ongoing projects
• Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date and complete.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software implementation project management. Including experience leading IT project teams to successful completion, providing direction, guidance and motivation.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional team without formal authority.
• Proven ability to effectively build, foster and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including internal customers, vendors and team members.
• Ability to leverage prior experience to build, run and maintain a project management process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in software development processes (SDLC)
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
• Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
• Expertise in project management methodologies and tools (Agile/SCRUM, Jira, Wrike, etc.)

• PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
• Experience in managing Salesforce related projects is highly desirable.

• Hybrid with minimum 2 days a week on-site in Danvers, MA office.
