Job Title: IT Project Manager - AWS, Snowflake

Duration : 6 months (W2-Contract)

Location : Portland, OR (Hybrid)

Job Description

• Product development for digitization of Utility line operations
• Cloud platform (AWS, Snowflake)

Job Duties :

• Regular interactions with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals and progress.
• Develop and present strategic plans and updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor and coordinate project progress, addressing risks and impediments promptly.

• Track progress and project planning with team members.
• Weekly meetings with the hiring manager to discuss project status and next steps.

• Set up the roadmap and program milestones.
• Engage with stakeholders and provide regular updates.
• Facilitate team norming and budget planning.

Required Skills:

Top 3 Must-Haves:

1. Leadership in Product Development: Lead and manage iterative product development projects, ensuring they align with business goals and objectives.
2. Agile Team Management: Oversee multiple agile teams, including geographically diverse teams both onsite and offshore, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and collaboration.
3. Project Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication and leadership skills to keep the project on track, handle overall planning, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Top 3 Nice-To-Haves:

1. Risk and Dependencies Management: Ability to identify and manage project risks and dependencies effectively.
2. Budget Management: Proficiency in managing project budgets.
3. Project Management Tools: Proficiency in tools like JIRA.

Certification Requirements:

• PMP and Scrum Master certifications are nice to have but not required.

Experience Required:

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT project management.
