Job Profile:  IT Project Manager – Temporary role

The Applications Director will provide strategic and technical guidance to the organization in establishing an overall long-term plan and framework for all global applications including SAP, PLM (Centrics), Highjump (WMS), B2B (Elastic), etc which ensures most effective use in enhancing business capability and performance.

Essential Functions of this Role:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide guidance on functionality and processes across all Applications and how these relate to business processes, other functional areas, and existing business applications
• Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of SAP, PLM, Elastic, HighJump, etc solutions through analysis, recommendation design, testing and implementation
• Provide leadership in data governance and develop standards and processes to ensure our data integrity
• Develop a productive framework for consistent training of the applications business community
• Lead both functional and development teams in delivering solutions by utilizing a collaborative approach to problem solving
• Manage demand and solutions within financial budget
• Provide solutions in a timely and effective manner
• Provide technical expertise in identification, design configuration testing and debugging issues and manage unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Ensure application, underlying technologies, staff, and operational processes meet & successfully pass audit controls
• Manage outsourced teams to coordinate and manage support
• Provide excellent customer service and support to employees

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Direct reports consist of programmers, analysts, and support personnel

Work Environment:

Travel: This job generally operates in a professional office environment.
Ability to maneuver in consistently changing environment
Thorough understanding of the complexity, interactions and dynamics within an international company

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

• Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders on business transformation projects.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree (BA, or BS) or related experience
• Minimum of 10 years of SAP functional experience
• Expert knowledge of at least two of the SAP areas: FICO, SD, MM, ABAP & Basis, etc
• Proven ability to successfully manage and lead a team, as well as 3rd party providers, to deliver on initiatives and commitments
• Previous experience working with outsourced/augmented staff
• Demonstrates familiarity with overall business goals and objectives
• Demonstrates an understanding of SAP ECC cross-functional issues and trends
• Must be flexible regarding change of focus, priorities and needs, etc
• Ability to work with multiple personalities in a diverse environment creating a team

atmosphere

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay Range:

Hourly Rate: $65.00 - $85.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
