IT Project Tech – Hybrid (Elizabeth City, Dare County, or Currituck County)

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Provide support and training for client systems, including monitoring, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Assist in defining system hardware and software specifications and configurations.
• Design, implement, upgrade, test, and troubleshoot networking, IT systems, and applications at customer locations.
• Propose and implement system and application enhancements.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and other support technicians on our team.
• Document, report, track problems, and follow up to ensure quick resolution.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients through tickets, emails, and face-to-face while onsite

Requirements:

• Local to Elizabeth City, Dare County, or Currituck County NC
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to visit client sites
• Microsoft stack (O365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Azure AD, Teams, as well as Windows Server)
• Basic understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Understanding of networking: TCP/IP, LAN / DMZ / WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching, and Firewalls
• Familiarity with Citrix XenApp and ConnectWise preferred
• Strong positive mentality, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, passion for helping non-technical end users
• MSP experience and/or IT/Networking certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) a big plus!
