Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Perform QA duties that support the initiation, planning, execution and completion of projects. Participate in all phases of the project life cycle and processes for projects of varying complexity. Define success criteria for product development while aligning company and department initiatives. Evaluate and perform analysis of specific business and system challenges and translate them into system requirements to meet initiatives, requirements and expectations.
- Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
- Document all defined requirements and maintain any changes made to the Requirements Document (RD) and ensure defined requirements are aligned according to system/program development.
- Define success criteria for product development while aligning company and department initiatives by acting as liaison between IT and assigned functional areas.
- Evaluate and perform analysis of specific business and system challenges and translate them into system requirements to meet initiatives, requirements and expectations.
- Construct workflow charts/diagrams that meet department criteria and aligns with system capabilities.
- Record and report the status of projects and assignments accurately.
- Inform and conduct follow up with appropriate department personnel on all problems or potential problem situations in a timely manner; provide recommendations for resolutions.
- Establish, build and maintain relationships with designated department personnel to assist in ease of implementation and project success.
- Ensure all appropriate technical staff receive training on new/updated features and/or functionality of assigned project.
- Continue to develop analytical skills and knowledge of the business and gain familiarity with systems development methodologies, project planning and project control disciplines.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 2+ years in Information Technology and/or Quality Assurance required.
- Previous experience in the transportation industry preferred.
- Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Report generation
- Mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to interpret user needs and translate into system requirements.
- Ability to understand system data and to identify discrepancies
- Previous knowledge of system analytics helpful
