IT Risk Analyst/ IT Project Manager

SoHo Dragon represents an investment bank with offices in Jersey City, NJ that needs to hire an IT Risk Analyst/ IT Project Manager. This is a hybrid role.

Key responsibilities include:• Ensure project and task deliverable dates are met on time• Identify risks and critical paths on the project; track them and facilitate with the team to mitigate these risks• Perform business analysis to document business requirements• Write test scripts and perform QA testing• Provide root cause analysis, along with conclusion on production issues• Prepare documentation on processes such as, but not limited to manuals, flow charts, FAQ, run book• Advance Excel user• Provide appropriate information share and updates with senior management and other key stakeholders• Schedule meetings with stakeholders, prepare agendas, distribute post meeting minutes and follow up on action items

Qualifications• Minimum of 5 years track record of delivery of major IT finance initiatives at large and complex financial institutions, hands-on Project Manager• Working in Banking or Investment Banking industry; knowledge in banking products and their operational workflows (i.e. how banking products are processed)• Solid understanding of project life cycle (SDLC)• Superior communication skills: both w ritten and oral w ith technical and non-technical staff. Able to articulate issues clearly and succinctly; willingness to escalate issues w here needed• Advanced user of Excel• Self-starter is necessary, able to work with limited instructions. Be able to work with agility due to change in directions without impacting to the delivery date• Strong business, analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and decision making skills• One year experience performing QA testing• Tolerance and understanding of multiple cultures• Knowledgeable in using Archer, SeviceNow, VISIO, PowerPoint, Word• Able to think 'out of the box' and work efficiently• Completes administrative tasks on a timely basis

Education:

Bachelor's Degree. PMP not required, but preferred
