Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of the Service Health and Risk Management objectives for the region.
- Discovery of risks within the IT Production Environment.
- Creation, documentation, and management of "get healthy" objectives, that align to each risk identified.
- Develops and on-going maintenance of Sr. Mgmt updates of the Service Health activities.
- Collaborate with the appropriate Subject Matter Experts and from multiple IT teams including but not limited to: infrastructure, distributed application, and development.
- Establishes health check management in partnership with support team (inventory, thresholds, triggers, tools, scripts, and procedures) maintaining consistency across all application and domains.
- Production of consolidated Risk/Service assessments, Operational reporting and Service Improvement management.
- Articulate risks and opportunities, influence and direct the appropriate resolutions, and effectively communicate and influence at the most senior levels.
- Manages the Service Health Function in ensuring that the Products are implemented according to schedule and reported accurately to the Senior Management.
- Minimum 5+ years of combined experience in development and production support in information technology. Financial institute experience is preferred.
- Understanding of the IT environment to include network, data centers and related technology and applications
- Exposure to multiple IT environments (Windows, Distributed, Mainframe etc.)
- Exposure to different database (DB2, Oracle, MySQL, Mongo etc.)
- Successful experience managing the product life cycle, developing programs and framework required for the design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting for the identification of best practices
- Knowledge of the ServiceNow tool with understanding in areas of of how ServiceNow works including incident, problem, change and configuration management modules.
- Strong analytic skills including trend analysis and data quality validation methodologies. Expert with Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Strong executive-level communication skills; both in writing and verbally.
- Confidence to work with a broad range or teams/disciplines
- Strong attention to detail will assist in data quality control and documentation consistency
- Ideal candidate will have process reengineering experience and have experience in driving change. Process management (including quality and service management, iTIL, Six Sigma, CMMi, SRE) or organizational effectiveness/development preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and influencing skills.
- Self-directed, motivated and managed; ability to deal with imperfect information, decision and drive to successful conclusions.
- Comfortable working in fast paced environment and ability to handle constant pressure, juggle multiple demands.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and forming logical actions as result
- Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries.
- Excellent relationship management skills with business units.
