IT Security Specialist

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Design, implement, and manage IT security requirements for a global and remote workforce.
• Develop security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Support information security audits and certifications.
• Monitor and maintain security controls.
• Manage asset, risk, and vulnerability processes.
• Conduct incident simulations and manage incident response.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees.
• Provide ongoing education about current cyber security threats.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity.

Skills/Areas of Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with Windows, Mac, IOS, and Android device security and administration.
• Experience with SIEM tools.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security and administration.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and self-manage time and resources.
• Strong written and verbal skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate and be a team player.
• Certifications are a bonus.
