Who You Are: As Nutrabolt’ s IT Security Systems Specialist, you are passionate about solving problems and helping others. It is your mission to provide outstanding service and support for team members located locally and remote. You are heavily involved with administering accounts in information technology systems, resolving technical issues for end users, and working with IT staff on technical solutions and security assessments. You will be responsible for system identity and access management for cloud-based and data center-hosted services, maintaining end-user devices across a hybrid environment, assisting with help desk tickets, and assisting with security assessments.

What You're Good At: 

  • Serving as primary responsible for identity and access management activities, including account creation; account provision; and account termination, for Nutrabolt systems
  • Serving as primary responsible for physical security systems management, including building access and surveillance
  • Securing endpoint systems from threats and vulnerabilities as they relate to identity and access management
  • Configuring security tools and systems including firewalls, encryption, and end point protection platforms
  • Assisting with IT audit & assessment activities related to cybersecurity
  • Communicating with employees on-site, via phone, remote access, or email to diagnose and repair any issues that arise due to failed software, hardware, or internet-based components
  • Providing timely resolutions to help desk tickets and escalating as needed
  • Supporting current Windows and Apple operating systems including Microsoft Office 365 administration
  • Applying OS and Security Patches on End-User Devices and Windows Servers
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including CMDB and knowledge base articles
  • In this role your goals and KPIs will be focused around:
    • Efficiency and timeliness of incidents resolved, and service requests completed, especially account management requests
    • Amount of end-user downtime within systems under your control
    • Amount of systems managed and up-to-date on security patches
    • Amount of Knowledge Base documentation created and/or maintained

What You Contribute: 

  • 1+ years Desktop Support Experience
  • Office365 User Management Experience
  • A relevant professional certification is a plus, such as:
    • Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate
    • Microsoft Security Administrator Associate
    • Security+
  • Experience with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems
  • Understanding of network protocols and application behaviors as they relate to information security
  • Familiarity with security controls frameworks, such as: CIS; NIST; or COBIT
  • Experience with building security controls, such as Openpath
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including telephone and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a professional way with colleagues to resolve technical issues
  • Participate in after-hours support and maintenance events as needed
