IT Senior Consultant

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Ensure that all local IT infrastructure are up to Group IT standards and compliant to Group IT Security policies to ensure that there are no disruptions to local business from a technology perspective by conducting regular assessments and audits.
Requirements:
PERFECT KNOWLEDGE OF CZECH LANGUAGE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION.
•Minimum job requirements: BA >4 years’ experience
•ITIL Foundation
•English proficiency

Responsibilities:

• Assist and support end-users by trouble-shooting IT systems and software, registering and follow-up on caretaker tickets, provide training to ensure that Digital IT tools are used effectively and become a source of competitive advantage.

• Coordinate with IT vendors in the installation of systems, devices, and components and troubleshooting problems to enable the smooth running of everyday business operations.

• Responsible for maintaining Servers, VMware hosts, Storage, Switches, and IT equipment in the data center by coordinating with concerned departments and vendors to upkeep the data center environment ensuring high availability of IT services.

• Develop and manage LAN/WAN/Internet by administrating the network, performing troubleshooting when required, and initiating problem-solving efforts by contacting support personnel within Jotun or external vendors/ISP to maintain seamless connectivity.

• Coordinate with IT vendors in the installation of systems, devices, and components and troubleshooting problems to enable the smooth running of everyday business operations.

• Be responsible for ensuring relevant maintenance contracts and licenses are maintained and conduct regular reviews to ensure we are compliant.

• Ensure all IT systems and business data are protected by regular backups and IT security guidelines are followed to ensure data can be retrieved when required.

• To have professional responsibility and stay current with technological developments. Contribute and recommend solutions to ensure Jotun operates with optimized solutions and takes advantage of new technology in existing and new markets.
