Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Analyze business and/or technical requirements to formulate test plans and scripts necessary to satisfy business and/or technical requirements. Perform risk assessments of test designs and scenarios to mitigate risk while still meeting required timelines. Collaborate with technical and business resources to identify and correct system defects that are detected during the testing activity.

• Map business and technical requirements into test scenarios and scripts.
• Provide final approval to IT leadership/developers for application to be released for implementation.
• Identify complex interdependencies affecting testing outcomes and collaborates with other teams to ensure full testing coverage.
• Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures and ensure test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
• Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
• Ensure change control process/policy has been followed by developers.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to test results, and to create mock up data for testing.
• Evaluate high-level project information and assess project components to forecast work effort required.
• Establish, build and maintain relationships with designated department personnel to assist in ease of implementation and project success.
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
• Research, analyze, and test highly complex production problems.
• Update automated test scripts to ensure currency.
• Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
• Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
• Refine and update technical and business skills and experience through work assignments, advanced technical and business training, attending professional and business industry conferences and actively participating in professional organizations.
• Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
