The role:
As a member of a global help desk, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to users for software and hardware (requests and incidents). This individual will also be responsible for implementing the service level agreement while staying in sync with security rules and processes in place.
What will you do?
- Tackle and resolve software and hardware incidents and requests sent to the service desk (On-Site Support in person at Charlotte, tickets entered on the web portal, phone or chat);
- Support users both locally and abroad in a multicultural environment;
- Set up and assist users with videoconferencing, telecommunications and mobile technology (MS Teams meeting rooms, phones, cell phones, iOS, Android, tablets, etc.);
- Physically install, move, modify and remove various IT equipment (PCs, laptops, printers, barcode scanners Intermec/Symbol, etc.);
- Build, modify and adjust accounts and access security (Windows, Citrix, SharePoint, FTP, Mitel, etc.);
What will you bring?
- a college or university degree in computer science-or equivilent experience
- 2 years of professional experience in a similar position;
- the ability to remain calm but reactive in case of unexpected situations;
- a good sense of priorities and are passionate about continuous improvement;
- experience in customer service and have good communication skills;
- solid understanding of Microsoft products such as Windows 10 and Office 365;
- knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM or SharePoint (assets);
- a natural curiosity about collaboration and teamwork;
- Excellent English communication skills are required, but other languages are good assets too (e.g., French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.).
