IT Services Engineer

As IT Services Engineer, you will be the initial contact point for all corporate end user support issues. Joining a dynamic team involved with supporting the employees, systems and networks within Qualys’ global corporate environment. You need to have the right attitude, learn quickly, result oriented, and a proven ability to solve end user issues in a timely, and professional manner. 

Responsibilities 

Provide help desk support to corporate end-users (on-site and remote) 

Responsible for computer imaging and asset tracking 

Setup IT assets for new user work areas 

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues for MAC and Windows 

Support mobile devices including Android & IOS 

Apply understanding and knowledge of information systems technology and services to solve problems 

Contribute and create documentation - Training Material, Quick Reference Guides, Knowledge Base Articles 

Work on an assignment related IT projects and implementations as needed 

Responsible for IT asset management lifecycle Qualifications 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience highly preferred 

Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills 

Knowledge of both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems 

Linux experience is a plus 

Knowledge of basic networking concepts and technologies (TCP/IP, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, etc) 

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office product and Office 365 product suite 

Attention to detail is a must 

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and get closure 

Strong work ethic and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting demanding deadlines 

Must be a team player that is willing to learn and share knowledge amongst team members 

Ability to work independently but also know when to ask for help or guidance 

Ability to lift up to 18 kgs
