IT Software Development Engineer (multiple openings) (Job Code: 1006)

Duties:

Responsible for providing technical support to the client account, providing detailed expertise and specialized of proprietary application software and solutions as it pertains to specific business logic, WMS functionality, and technical configuration; provide leadership within the software development team in the delivery of software, including roadmap projects, internal change requests, business process improvement projects, and new/incremental business within the overall account; develop and deliver technical and specific modifications and enhancements to existing application functionality in line with functional and technical specifications; utilize Progress OpenEdge, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, JIRA, StarTeam, Linux, and Unix to perform duties; conduct unit testing and delivery of tested software modules, ensuring adherence to functional requirement prior to handover into the IT QA function; document items in line with Technology Software standards; provide technical expertise with the client account, including incident and problem management through to resolution, root cause analysis and corrective action, communication, reporting and escalating, and customer SLAs.

Location: Auburn Hills, MI and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;

Salary: $85,405 per year;

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Training: None;

Experience: Three (3) years in the position above, as a Software Developer, as a Software Engineer, or in a related occupation.

Other Requirements: Experience must include three (3) years' use of all the following: Progress OpenEdge, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, JIRA, StarTeam, Linux, and Unix.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
