IT Software Engineer

Looking for an exciting career in software development? Our Information Technology team is currently in search of a Software Engineer to create and maintain software solutions for our cloud based corporate IT systems. If you love coding and technology, we'd like to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Participate fully as a member during all phases of planning, designing, testing and implementation of custom applications.
• Basic understanding of nCino's internal business processes.
• Continue to strengthen proficiencies in the various languages and frameworks used by nCino.
• Work independently to complete fundamental coding tasks for project delivery while partnering with senior members of the team for more complex tasks.
• Collaborate both across the departments to deliver high quality solutions.
• Participate in 3rd party software implementation and develop software customizations to meet the business needs.
• Using technical writing skills to update documentation and visual diagrams for custom solutions.
• Participate and contribute in peer code reviews and change control procedures.
• Follow code standards and adhere to the established development process.
• Participate in discussions around project backlog prioritization from a technical perspective.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of 2 years related experience or combination of education and experience
• Understanding of OOP concepts and proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, C#, C++, Apex, PHP, Ruby, Scala, Python Experience with web application development
• Willingness to continually deepen personal knowledge of the craft of coding and design Ability to effectively communicate and facilitate collaboration
• Be a great teammate - carry your load, help other teammates, be flexible and adapt easily to changing product needs based on both customer and internal business needs

Desired:

• Experience with Salesforce administration and Lightning Web Component development
• Experience with AWS Services such as Lambda, Bedrock, EC2, and S3 Experience with Kanban, waterfall, or agile software development
