What you'll be doing

You will be part of a team of software engineers, creating new solutions, as well as modernizing an existing software portfolio, so we can reach and support more patients digitally.

How you'll Succeed

  • Develop and contribute to frontend frameworks
  • Develop backend services to support API integrations
  • Replace external commercial off the shelf (COTs) services with internal services that are written to handle scale
  • Create reusable software products that are built to scale

What You Should Bring

  • Hands-on engineering experience in the software space.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work optimally across multiple business and technical teams.
  • Practical experience of cloud technologies and software engineering.
  • Web Security and Healthcare compliance experience is a plus.
  • A high level of intellectual curiosity, external perspective, and innovation.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, security as it relates to DevSecOps and Agile program management.
  • Experience with architectural patterns of distributed applications on cloud.
  • Javascript
  • Common understanding of front-end architectures
  • Secure coding practices
  • Demonstrated understanding of fault-tolerant, scalable distributed systems
  • Ability to mentor and lead more junior engineers in advancing their skills and performing code reviews.
  • Understanding of HTTP and APIs (Rest based and others)

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical field with 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer OR High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • Experience in Go, Rust, Java, C++ or other OOP language
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelining
  • Experience with refactoring and re-platforming
  • Testing experience including A/B, B/G, Canary, etc.
