IT Software Test Automation Engineer III

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Business Analysts and the dev team to create testing stories.
• Responsible for development, quality, and triage of production issues.
• Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
• Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
• Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
• Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.
• Troubleshooting automation software.
• Ensure that applications respond quickly and on time.
• Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
• Developing TDD procedures for the team. Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of Experience in Software Development / Testing Experience in .NET applications using Selenium.
•  Experience in performance tests
• Experience in API testing (REST, GraphQL) 
• Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
• Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong experience in working in a delivery focused agile teams using agile products like Jira.
• Ability to work in ambiguity.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of energy trading, risk management, and energy management concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Certification in AWS Solutions Architect or similar credentials.
