The IT Solution Architect plays an integral role in building a holistic view and roadmap of the Supply Chain and Order Management functional space.

The architect partners with business and technology groups to ensure alignment of technology solutions with the company's strategic objectives, and more specifically for the Integrated Supply Chain business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides cross-product/cross-technology expertise to the IT Supply Chain and IT Order Management capability teams, provides input on and evaluates solution design and is consulted during release planning.
  • Adheres to policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent technology framework is applied across the capability, maintains awareness and visibility of organizational standards and best practices.
  • Partners with IT and business leaders to act as an advisor to strategic planning efforts aligned to organizational priority and vision.
  • Helps business leaders clarify their objectives and expectations for advancing digital experience investment(s).
  • Engages with the business and teams during ideation and design, guides technology selection, develops architectural artifacts in partnership with lead engineer and dev team(s) and ensure compliance with security, identity and access management, Enterprise Architecture, etc.
  • Partners with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Assesses the current IT environment and develops a future state IT architecture in partnership with Enterprise Architecture.
  • Supports the design and modeling of tactical architectures for the delivery, development, and support of projects.
  • Partners with other solution architects to provide secure, scalable and adaptable architectural solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, management information systems or related field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Strong working knowledge and configuration experience in SAP MM, SD, and PP
  • Experience in SAP ECC, CRM, GTS, APO, SRM, SNC
  • Demonstrated experience integrating SAP and third party applications.
  • Must exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal and written English communication skills
  • Experience designing, integrating and managing complex IT application solutions for critical business issues in the supply chain and order management verticals
  • Demonstrated experience with business process and performance modeling, benchmarking and financial analysis
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
  • Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders and influence project decisions
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
