The IT Solutions Architect plays an important role to convert business requests into technical capabilities. This position will create architecture diagrams, tech solutions, and system designs to meet the needs of our business processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

The IT Solutions Architect is responsible for providing the system solution details for the software development and delivery team. This includes:

• Create Technical IT solutions and provide technical guidance for the application engineering team to build.

• Create and own various requirement & System design artifacts, for example: High level system designs, user stories, workflows, mapping documents, screen mockups, expected business outcomes.
• Translates high level business requirements into a technical implementation delivery plan; drive and support the tech implementation for medium-to-high complexity processes.

• Collaborate closely with business partners to understand their priorities for execution of the development.

• Perform analysis to understand current-state of our platform and leverage that knowledge to guide planning for system changes.
• Detail and document the technology solution system needs; Break down large concepts into small units of work for the engineering team.
• Lead meetings with product owners and business team members; Gather requirements and translate to system application needs.
• Work cohesively with contacts across product owners, architecture, application development, quality engineering. Support these team members, communicate and share functional expectations.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational problems, be proactive to advising how to resolve.
• Quickly and effectively understand issues and challenges.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of IT architecture and design experience.
• 3+ years Healthcare experience.

• Experience in Agile methodologies, grooming Features and User Stories, be able to work with Product Owners, Developers, and architects and drive solutions across the team.
• Experience documenting detailed designs, process workflows, data mappings and API integrations.

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to present fact-based recommendations in a clear, logical, and concise way.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with technology and business partners
• Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures (SQL, Oracle), Intermediate level of proficiency developing SQL queries
• Experience in solution development or technical architecture, with experience directing technical teams.

• Experience in database architecture and designing data models to support various types of solutions.
• Experience in designing applications across systems and cross-org teams.
• Flexible and able to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Self-starter with the ability to problem solve and work independently.
• Exceptional soft skills - Analytical skills, Communication skills; Organization and priority / time management skills; Ability to influence outcomes without authority; Strategic thinking; Results orientation; Ability to learn fast; Team work and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of Provider Risk Based contracting methods and knowledge of alternate reimbursement methods such as Capitation.

• Experience creating UI wireframe mockups.

• Experience with data loading processes & data transformations.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Hands-on Engineering/Developer background.
• Experience with reporting tools.

• Experience in designing applications in a large organization.
