Job Description

We are looking for a skilled IT Solutions Architect to join our growing IT Department. We are specifically seeking a candidate who appreciates the dynamics of a small business environment rather than a corporate one at our North Fort Worth office The role involves collaboration, technical leadership, cloud computing, networking, security, and endpoint management, with a focus on Microsoft Intune. Preferred Technical Skills:

• Architecture Knowledge:
  1. In-depth understanding of enterprise-level IT architecture, including systems, applications, data, and infrastructure.
  2. Familiarity with various architectural styles and frameworks.
• Programming and Scripting:
  1. Proficiency in programming languages relevant to the organization's technology stack (e.g., Java, C#, Python).
  2. Scripting skills for automation and orchestration (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Endpoint Management:
  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and security.
  2. Experience in designing and implementing device management solutions.
• Cloud Imaging Solutions:
  1. Knowledge of cloud imaging solutions for deploying and managing OS images in cloud environments.
  2. Experience in automating and customizing image deployment processes.
• Cloud Computing:
  1. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  2. Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and services.
• Networking:
  1. Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  2. Experience with designing and implementing network solutions.
• Security:
  1. Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  2. Ability to design secure IT solutions, considering data privacy and compliance requirements.
• Databases:
  1. Proficiency in working with various database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
  2. Experience in database design and optimization.
• Virtualization and Containerization:
  1. Experience with virtualization technologies (eg., Hyper-V, VMware) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• DevOps and CI/CD:
  1. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  2. Experience in implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.

Experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or a similar role.
• Experience in leading and contributing to the successful implementation of complex IT projects.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in IT architecture.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift, Monday to Thursday
• 7-hour shift, Friday
• Periodic weekend availability
