In this role, your primary responsibility is to ensure Highnoon systems and processes are at the leading edge of security and efficiency - protecting our technology and Information assets and helping employees have great, functional, and seamless technology experiences that enable them to do their best work.

We are looking for the best-suited individual to join our internal operations team and provide In-house IT services - primarily Information technology, security, and computer and equipment support. We're looking for someone who enjoys tackling complex problems and is ready to use their skills to provide great customer service and deliver seamless technical experiences for all Agency staff. You will have an IT services company at your call, but should be able to do everything yourself as well.

The IT Specialist role at Highnoon requires candidates to have the ability to maintain and improve the technical systems of our company to ensure all employees have the resources they need to complete their work and that the organization's important files and information remain safe and intact.

Requirements

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of IT systems
  • Maintain ethernet and wifi network
  • Maintain and update voip/sip phone system
  • Maintain and update firewall and all security services
  • Install and maintain office IT equipment as needed
  • Implement best-practice security measures that are always up to date and utilizing modern tech stack and equipment
  • Monitor security compliance and report to executive leaderhisp
  • Anticipate and report the cost of replace or updating computer and IT systems / equipment
  • Offer technical support to company staff and trouble shoot computer problems
    • Desktop support
    • Office equipment support
    • Conference room support
  • Purchase and provision mac and pc computers
  • Install and update company software and hardware as needed
  • Work with the Director of People Operations on any new hire logistics and set up, which could include:
    • Ordering computers
    • Employee software provisioning
    • Granting admin access to internal tools/platforms
    • Set up of various equipment
CORE CHARACTERISTICS & SKILLS
  • 3-5 years of IT experience
  • Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software and programming
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Good organization, time management and prioritization skills
  • Efficient troubleshooting abilities
  • Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening
  • Good customer service and intrerpersonal skills Is a must
  • Strategic thinking
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Any additional specialized training or certifications would be a plus (but are not required)
  • Relevant BA/BS college degree is a plus (computer science, information technology, information system security, etc.)
