Role Summary
eClerx is seeking a skilled entry level IT Specialist to provide direct support to users across our organization. In this role, you will work with our team to resolve issues with IT systems and software. You will respond to hardware problems, update system software, and track data and communication used on the network. The ideal candidate will need to be onsite in our Philadelphia office 3 days a week. Occasional travel to our New York City office is required.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Support for End User Devices – Win OS, Mac OS, laptops, MacBook, desktop, thin clients, printers, Avaya phones, etc.
- Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems
- Install and update company software and hardware as needed
- Respond to inquiries regarding system operation and diagnose software problems
- Resolve help desk tickets, escalate to others as appropriate
- Monitor system and network performance
- Communicate effectively with team members across the company
- Perform basic installation functions (e.g., set up and test equipment)
- In person and remote user support
Eligibility Requirements
- 1-year experience in IT systems
- Self-starter
- Hands-on knowledge on networking
- Mounting and installing Firewall, Switch, Router, Wireless Access Points (WAP), etc
- Troubleshooting WAN, LAN, Wifi, internet issues
- Ability to work with all levels of end user computer knowledge
- Ability to work in a dynamic, high volume department
In the US, the target base salary for this role is $40,000 - $45,000. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.Â
