Summary
This position is being filled under DoD Modified Direct Hire Authority, Section 1109; PL, 116-92, dated 12/20/2019 .
This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Serves as an Information Technology Specialist (IT) (Al Requirements Analyst) and provides Al strategy and acquisition guidance to govern Department of Defense (DoD) Al activities for enhancement, modernization, and transformation within the Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) construct.

- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.

- Incumbent may sometimes be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service:
- Serves as team lead/technical authority in analyzing developments and new applications of IT (hardware, software, telecommunications), emerging technologies and their applications to business processes, and applications and implementation of information systems to meet organizational requirements.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), Data Science/data architecture/analysis/engineering, computer aided manufacturing (CAM), DevSecOps, and Cloud computing.
- Identifies and analyzes problems; uses sound reasoning to arrive at conclusions; finds alternative solutions to complex problems; distinguishes between relevant and irrelevant information to make logical judgements.
- Participates in or conducts special conferences, writes correspondence, prepares technical and analytical reports, and briefing aides which are easily understood by both technical and customer proponents.
