- Alternate work schedules are authorized. Recall to duty may be required. Overtime may be required. Work hours other than normal duty hours, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, may be required.
- Travel by regularly scheduled military or commercial aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments may be required.
- A bachelor's degree in information systems, Information Technology, or a related field is highly desirable.
- The completion of Professional Military Education (PME)-intermediate Development Education (IDE) or Joint Professional Military Education I (JPME I) is highly desirable.

Qualifications
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-2 (GS-11) grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
- Reviewing, analyzing, and recommending emerging technologies to meet mission objectives
- Drafting, developing, and implementing plans and procedures based on data-driven metrics
- Migrating to and operating / managing applications in a cloud environment
In addition to meeting qualifications, your application package must reflect the applicable experience to meet the Individual Occupational Requirements for the 2210, series as listed below:
Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.
- Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
- Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
- Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
- Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.

Information Assurance Certification is a condition of employment. This position includes information assurance (IA) work as a paramount duty requirement. Per DoD 8570.01-M, the incumbent of this position must achieve the appropriate IA certification within six months of assignment of these duties. A waiver of this six-month requirement may be granted per DoD 8570.01-M, C3.2.4.2 or C3.2.4.3. Failure to receive the proper IA certification could result in removal from this position. Employee must meet continuing education and training requirements for IA certification. Failure to maintain the proper IA training could result in removal from this position.
