Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking a high potential, top performer for this position: requiring a professional demeanor, excellent communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work on a wide range of tasks and strategic initiatives. the Sr. Product Business operations is a critically important role, enabling the COO to work more effectively with internal and external stakeholders. This is a highly strategic and facilitative role that requires a combination of focus and flexibility as well as a willingness to play an active, operational, and communicative role.

As the COO 'trusted counsel', the role requires strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and strong analytical and interpersonal skills. This position will report directly to the COO Category.

Responsibilities:

  • Build/run the BMS across all segments (SMB/REL/Consumer) and key product categories to keep a pulse on the business and track activities and results.
  • Work with segment and sales leaders on the LA Campaign and business planning process - facilitating the set-up of MS/Unit/Revenue/Profit goals for segments based on a tops down & bottoms up approach (Market analysis, Inventory, Historical performance etc.).
  • Work with finance on financial milestones: Monthly financial commits (M-calls, POR calls).
  • Facilitate and manage the process of identifying, prioritizing, chartering, communicating, and managing key strategic projects.
  • Organize day to day activities with the COO LA Category, including but not limited to tracking business progress towards targets, follow-up on key initiatives, prepare presentations to customers, executives, external and internal audience, and preparation for key internal and external meetings.
  • Govern the strategic STAMP planning process for LA PCSD working cross-functionally to communicate the process, key milestones, and consolidate information.
  • Act as a change agent for business transformation initiatives and tools that further optimize our end-to-end business execution and performance.
  • Conduct market and financial analysis as needed to support GEO projects and business initiatives.
  • Track key strategic actions and drive them to closure.
  • Drive LA Category Organization elements, including agenda topics for weekly team meetings, quarterly All-Hands meetings, and Kickoff gatherings. Also key to helping coordinate team gatherings and other culture-building initiatives across the LA Category organization.
  • Support the LA Category COO with ad-hoc projects and key strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Extensive experience in IT product strategy development
  • Managed operational planning.
  • Good oral and written communication skills (Advanced English mandatory)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Great management of negotiations skills
