IT Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager

Grow your career as an IT Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager within Trisept Solutions, the technology arm of Apple Leisure group. You will be responsible for leading, coordinating, monitoring and implementing programs run by the Project Management Office or department. You will have the opportunity to partner with other leaders and key stakeholders to locate opportunities and develop and prioritize programs/projects. You will ensures all projects within the programs are delivered within defined scope, defined success criteria, are cost effective and on time, while applying best practices on important aspects of the project management process such as planning, scheduling, budget and risk assessment.

A successful IT Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager will:

• Participate actively in innovation and evolution of technology across the group
• Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
• Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization
• Design cross functional program teams, define roles, set clear expectations and hold members accountable to deliverables
• Coordinate and deliver development of budget and operating plan for programs
• Work with stakeholders on methods for prioritization, scope definition and other best practices
• Ensure effective and transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project issues and decisions
• Produce accurate and on time PMO scorecard and dashboards to report program/projects status
• Facilitate highly efficient program status meetings and key stakeholder reviews
• Provide notification of program milestone completions
• Analyze risks
• Elevate all critical issues and risks with suggested courses of action
• Propose new initiatives that could help lowering costs, incrementing staff satisfaction or working more efficiently
• Any other responsibilities, activities or tasks identified by the PMO in terms of growing and developing the organization

A successful IT Sr. Project Manager/Program Manager will have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or related
• Strong understanding of project management methodology and terminology (PMI/PMP Certification preferred)
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• 5 years PM related experience on IT Projects
• 5 years of experience Hotel/Tourism/Travel Vacation Companies preferred
• Knowledge of Project Management Tools (Smartsheet Certification preferred)
• Project Management Certification (PMP / PMI or similar) preferred
• Certification or proficiency SmartSheet a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Proficiency in Project Management programs
• Flexible, stress resistant, has an accurate work practice and a hands-on mentality
• Strong communication skills with cross functional project teams, team workers, functional test team, sponsors, management, partners, vendors and users
• Excellent public relationship skills with customers, co-workers & external partners
• Ability to monitor and drive issues, track tasks, and evaluate priorities daily
• Produce high quality documentation
• Ability to influence and persuade in order to achieve desired outcomes
• Ability to confidently present concepts and solutions verbally in front of a group
• Ability to offer alternative solutions to program/projects scope
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Acts as a champion for the team and the company
• Ability to align with key stakeholders, IT and PMO teams in order to troubleshoot issues
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational, planning, facilitation, and prioritization skills
• Ability to identify problems and recognize important information with a clear understanding of the underlying links between the details
• Ability finding the causes of problems to quickly identify and filter relevant information to solve them
• Willing to travel, to support knowledge transfer on global projects
• Must be a problem solver
