The Technology Strategy & Operations (TS&O) team provides essential services to the broader Technology organization by supporting critical management processes and cadences that are concentrated on metrics, outcomes, and team engagement.
Our primary focus is on Portfolio & Operations Management, Technology Planning & Optimization, Global Workforce Solutions, and Delivery Management. TS&O is uniquely positioned to work at a local level within each of these areas of concentration through deep understanding of our partner and stakeholder needs. As a trusted partner, we're able to connect our experience and knowledge of the Technology landscape with the broader Enterprise, which helps to provide connectivity between our overall Technology priorities with the goals aligned to our Drive to 2025.
Role Summary
The ideal candidate for this role will work within the Technology Planning & Optimization function on a variety of cross-organizational initiatives. This team provides services that include Technology performance and scorecard tracking, Operating and Board content stewardship, enterprise initiative engagement, Technology total cost of ownership (TCO), and Research & Information Services.
This role will support several services and initiatives which generally include a significant amount of data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, thought leadership, presentation and communication with other team members and senior leaders, and packaging of time-sensitive highly visible materials.
Typical Role Responsibilities
- Helps drive the strategic planning for several of the largest initiatives in the Technology Planning & Optimization organization, including the Technology Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model
- Oversees the collaboration of Technology and Business unit partners to enable highly productive functional teams and help drive comprehensive plans, including governance, financial tracking, and reporting
- Partners with core team members and ancillary organizations to successfully execute initiatives using Agile best practices and principles (where necessary) and identify key gaps, interdependencies, and risks
- Facilitates and supports workstream efforts to ensure scope and deliverables progress at necessary rates and align to key timelines and stakeholder commitments
- Effectively communicates across multiple facets of the organization, including senior Technology and Business leadership, stakeholders, and consumers
- Strategically influences positive outcomes in a dynamic environment, including driving prescriptive work efforts as well as pivoting initial approach and plan as needed
- Facilitates highly visible meetings with various team members and senior leadership to achieve action-oriented outcomes
- Manages relationships with all impacted stakeholders, vendors, and contributors to drive consistent messaging and help establish our team as a premier and trusted partner within Technology Operations
Role Qualifications
- BS or BA degree in Business or comparable business experience
- 7+ years of professional experience managing large initiatives in a matrixed environment
- Project Management and/or Agile certifications a plus
- Working knowledge of company operations
- High proficiency with standard Microsoft products
- Jira/Jira Align experience preferred
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Proven track record of following through and delivering on commitments
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to implement new ideas and influence dynamic thinking - High attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to consume large quantities of information
- Comfortable presenting to senior leaders and facilitating discussions in a dynamic environment
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,600 - 182,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
