IT is seeking a candidate who can lead the adoption of OKR methodologies, practices, and tools across our large organization of approximately 5,000 team members to drive systemic change. OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) have enormous potential to not only transform the clarity of our purpose, priorities and execution, but also lead to significant cultural shifts at Intel. This includes transformation, automation, and data analytics to inform and lead change. The ideal candidate knows how to not only drive openness and accountability, but also identifying challenges and looking at systemic inefficiencies to lead to outsized results.

This candidate will operate in a highly matrixed team who are champions of OKRs and cultural change agents across IT and Intel. Operationalizing OKRs have a global and long-lasting impact and create value for an enterprise. The individual will be a critical team member within the IT PMO Center of Excellence.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Manages OKR systems, data, and analytics to surface and measure progress and proactively identify improvement action plans when needed; provide guidance in ensuring OKRs have clear, transparent and concise metrics attached to them to effectively track progress.

Acts as a program leader for the OKR cycle, cadence, common terminology, and processes; balancing the technical requirements and business impact using a comprehensive understanding of the business; can act as a coach for the broader organization to support effective goal setting and tracking.

Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate; develops robust partnerships with internal champions and coaches.

Identifies and implements methodologies to adopt and embrace a disciplined OKR practice and cadence with the IT organization.

Supports organizational change management activities to drive a cultural shift to outcome driven OKRs across the organization.

Supports the operating rhythm to align and achieve shared outcomes and results; helps refine roles and responsibilities in a highly matrixed organization.

Coordinates a community of OKR results champions across the organization.

Exercises judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.

Thrives in high levels of ambiguity, leverages trusted networks to build consensus, refines recommendations, aligns organizations.

Is fearless in tackling complicated problems, talking to senior stakeholders, and driving transformation.

An ideal candidate would exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:

Experience in areas of strategy development, linking strategy and execution, and operational excellence

Familiar with metrics definition and measurement, driving results that are outcome based

Experience with organizational change management driving cultural change

Demonstrated high competency in written and verbal communication skills

Excellent listening skills, consensus building, and empathetic engagement models to build Intel coherency and alignment

Good organization and discipline

Independent and able to manage time efficiently

Be able to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business or related technical discipline. Plus 1+ years of experience managing projects with highly matrix deliverables, in a tight timeline. OR
  • Master in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business or related technical discipline. Plus 6+ months of experience managing projects with highly matrix deliverables, in a tight timeline.
  • 6+ months of experience using MS Excel, creating pivot tables, and working with large data sets.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$69,840.00-$104,400.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
