Job Description
Kite Pharma is seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Solution Analyst to join the TechOps IT team at Kite. This role will report to the Kite Supply Chain IT leader. This individual will need to work and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders understanding business needs and identifying opportunities for enhanced features for existing and new solutions through thorough business analysis and supply chain systems expertise.
This individual must also be able to work directly with cross-functional technical teams including Kite TechOps Teams, Integration engineers, Gilead ERP team, Supply Chain logistics teams, Supply Chain Planning team and 3rd party SaaS service providers.
This person must be able to work in both a project-based and agile working environment and have the ability support related activities such capturing user requirements, development, and capacity planning, participate in testing cycles, documentation, and even production support.
This person will be also help in managing business engagement with key Supply Chain business team members (like Supply Chain Planning, Cell therapy Logistics and Distribution, Supply Chain Analytics, Local site Supply Chain team and Business Operations in Supply Chain, Manufacturing)
Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Systems/Solution Analyst include (but are not limited to):
• This person serves as a liaison between business (Business Process Owners -BPOs), Vendor (SIs) and IT Teams for everything and anything Supply Chain and Chain Of Custody related functionality of Kite.
• Partner with the business users, IT and vendors to analyze and scope new enhancements for, SAP ERP (Logistics, SD, and/or Planning) and Supply Chain Planning applications (e.g. Rapid Response)
• Serve as subject matter expertise on business analysis, provide analytical skills, identify alternatives and reusable components across workstreams, support above mentioned Supply chain applications/solution implementation and migrations and future enhancements.
• Actively participate in the business analysis, work alongside business groups to capture requirements and priorities, document detailed functional requirements, help translate those to ERP, Planning systems, Integrations and Data and Analytics Technical requirements (whichever are applicable).
• Organize and lead Supply Chain Technology Roadmap discussions with Business Process Owners and IT
• Identify areas of improvement and Champion continuous process improvement across the Supply Chain systems lifecycle.
• Drive best business practices SAP ERP implementations in certain areas of Order to Cash (OTC) and Plan to Make (PTM) processes preferably in cell & gene therapy set up.
• Help conduct application demos, coordinate testing and documentation of GxP requirements
• Support development of business requirements and cases for new business capabilities
• Perform impact assessment on new changing products capabilities, including impact to integrated (Boundary) systems
• Coordinate testing of changes and enhancement with the business to ensure successful delivery
• Advanced planning and organizational skills, including ability to follow tasks/assignments through to completion
• Provide application support and assist with application maintenance
• Participate in needed software configuration, documentation, and validation as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master's Degree and 3+ years of experience in related field OR
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience in related field OR
- High School Degree and 9+ years of experience in related field
Preferred Qualifications:
• BA / BS Degree in Science, Business, Information Technology and/or Engineering
• Must have 3-4 years of experience as Business Analyst in Cell and Gene Therapy industry or Biotech industry
• Must have solid understanding and experience of Order to Cash and Plan to Make processes in Biotech or Cell and Gene therapy company
• Must have excellent knowledge of requirements gathering techniques and ability to run workshops
• Required in depth knowledge of the Delivery and BA process, and be able to work with development team to provide clear Business and Technical Requirements
• Proven ability in authoring technical documents and business processes
• Working Experience with SAP SCM / SD / Planning (Logistics, Transportation Mgt, Supply Chain Planning, MM)
• Working knowledge of Salesforce and integration with Salesforce preferred.
• Experience in MS project, Smartsheet, etc.
• Experience in Project Management, preferably with Agile Methodologies or SCRUM Framework
• Meaningful team ethic and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Good analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and understand complex issues and then developing appropriate cross-functional solutions
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and organizational skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings are required
• Must be able to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams
• Deep problem-solving skills are essential

The salary range for this position is: $112,710.00 - $145,860.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
