IT Support Engineer

Job Description:

FORTUNE seeks an experienced IT Support Engineer with a passion for “getting it done”.  Our small IT Infrastructure and Support team assists our business partners across the US, Europe and Asia as they produce newsletters, websites, the FORTUNE magazine, videos and FORTUNE conferences.  

You Will:

• Provide Windows and Mac deskside/remote support to approx. 200 global staff.
• Have experience with administration of Office 365; Azure Active Directory & SAML integrations; Zoom Phone & Meetings.
• Be familiar with desktop applications like Microsoft Office (Windows and Mac versions); Adobe Creative Suite; OneDrive/Sharepoint.
• Have supported JAMF and/or Azure Domain joined Windows computers.
• Have supported InTune MDM mobile devices.
• Provide user hardware/software/peripheral support; network (cabled & wifi) troubleshooting/support; systems administration; hardware asset & inventory management; create and maintain user facing & internal technical documentation; wrangle requests from email/Slack/helpdesk; occasional after-hours on-call support.

You Are:

• You will have two or more years’ experience providing IT support in a small/medium sized organization.
• Your work ethic is dependable. Your troubleshooting & diagnostics skills are solid. Your collegiality is admirable.
• Self-starter. You are confident in your skills and can perform with minimal supervision.

The position is based in New York City, is not remote, and reports to the Manager of IT.
