IT Support Engineer

YPrime’s Information Technology team is looking for an IT Support Engineer. You’ll be based out of our Malvern, PA headquarters office or our Raleigh, NC office.  At YPrime, we help our clients in the pharma and biotech industries to collect data from patients using mobile devices, assign patients to study treatment groups, and dispense clinical trial drugs and supplies using web apps. We’re supporting life-altering research, one project at a time.

• Experience in a Desktop Support-related role
• Demonstrated understanding of Active Directory, Office 365, and MS SCCM
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting routers, switches, and firewalls
• Experience troubleshooting operational tools, components, mobile phones, laptops, and other hardware, software, or peripheral accessories
• Experience working with Windows 7, Windows 8, 8.1, and Windows 10
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of all relevant operating systems, protocols, and standards
• A strong sense of organizational, time-management, and Prioritization skills

Have these things too? Even better!

• Experience provisioning and troubleshooting both Mac and PC devices
• Experience in the Clinical Research, Pharmaceutical, or Biotech Industry

Here are some more details about the job:

• You’ll analyze, diagnose, and resolve desktop problems for end users
• You’ll assist in user/hardware movement and branch relocations
• You’ll perform software, hardware, and network troubleshooting
• You’ll resolve all service request tickets with a sense of high urgency and quality
• You’ll install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows Desktop Operating Systems and any other authorized desktop applications, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office 365 Administration, inTune Administration, AzureAD + ADDS Administration
• You’ll install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware, and any other authorized peripheral equipment
• You’ll perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral equipment
• You’ll customize desktop hardware to meet role specifications and site standards
• You’ll perform work in compliance with specified warranty requirements
• You’ll assist in the provisioning, packaging, and shipment of IT equipment for all assigned new hires
• You’ll assist in managing the employee onboarding and offboarding process
