The IT Support Engineer at phData will be expected to:
- Work from office with flexible hours
- Resolving IT support requests from employees
- Answering employee questions regarding Laptops, Workspace and cloud computing.
- Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems
- Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues
- Configuring and shipping new Laptops to employees.
- Wiping and reinstalling OS on laptops received from exit employees for reuse.
- Maintaining IT inventory.
- Updating employees on the status of their service requests
- Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed
- Work on all kinds of IT related projects and tasks.
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must have knowledge and experience on Windows OS, MS Intune, MS Office 365, Active Directory, Google workspace/G-Suite, MacOS, Endpoint security, IT ticketing system, basic networking and VPN.
- Proven experience and troubleshooting skills on all operating systems, Laptop & Desktop hardware and other IT devices.
- Good customer support experience with being a good team player.
- Knowledge and in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure is an added advantage
- Advanced knowledge and experience in MacOS installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- A total of 3+ years of experience as IT support or Tech support engineer.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented.
