IT Support Engineer

Maven is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our growing IT Team in the New York City office. This position will monitor, maintain, and support Maven’s computer systems, applications, and network.  You will assist with the day-to-day support and operations of the Maven user base. 

• Spend approximately:
• 75% of your time supporting existing IT infrastructure and Maven’s employees, both onsite and remote
• 25% of your time working with the internal IT team on initiatives and projects
• Provide Level 1 technical support to our internal users
• Support products such as Google Workspaces, FreshService, Jamf, Sophos, and our managed fleet of macOS devices
• Help with onboarding and off-boarding employees and contractors as Maven continues to grow
• Support Maven office environment including network, conference rooms, user stations, printers, and security system
• Assist IT team with new and ongoing projects

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support/engineering role
• Experience using Google Workspaces products (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, etc) and administration
• MacOS support experience
• Help Desk support experience
• Experience with help desk support solutions such as FreshService
• Experience with deploying MacOS upgrades/updates
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Technical education/degree, or equivalent working experience a plus
• Some experience with Jamf software and Apple device management 
• Knowledge of security products and concepts (anti-malware, anti-spam, etc.)
