What We're Looking For:

Cover Whale is searching for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our rapidly growing Technology team. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for onsite helpdesk (workstation and user), support for the CA location as well as remote support for distributed work teams, and working across diverse teams to ensure IT tools are deployed and maintained to support rapid growth and cross-team collaboration.

What You'll Do:

  • Deployment and maintenance of laptops, workstations and conference room systems.
  • Install and manage new software, hardware drivers, certificates
  • Strong contribution to IT security policies
  • Resolve IT support requests from employees
  • Look for opportunities to simplify and improve day to day operations within position.
  • Inventory and device management
  • Manage new hiring onboarding as it pertains to equipment and account setup
  • Additional duties as needed.

Expected base pay for the role will be between $112,000-$132,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonus and other Cover Whale sponsored total rewards/benefits.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience providing technical support
  • Proficiency with troubleshooting hardware, software, printing, and network connectivity issues.
  • Proficiency with Apple & Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Multitasking skills to assist multiple employees at once
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact professionally and positively with colleagues and coworkers
  • Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Self motivated, quick learner and able to adapt easily in a fast paced environment.
