Our IT Support Specialist is the firefighter of the service desk and of the company. They work with customers daily to resolve both large crisis's and small complaints as they arise. The person in this role must be responsive, flexible, and versatile, while striving to exceed minimum production standards.
Candidates must reside in Eastern or Central Time Zone. Preference will be given to candidates in Alpharetta, GA.
Responsibilities
- Software set up and assistance remote workers
- Assist clients with the installation, configuration and ongoing usability of desktop computers, mobile devices, peripheral equipment and software
- Ensure on-boarding and off-boarding requests are worked and managed until completion
- Provision/deprovision users within Office 365, including licensing, managing shared mailboxes/distribution lists, and Office365 groups
- Be able to provide real-time and detailed documentation of the task performed within a ticketing system/CRM
- Interface with clients and/or organizations outside of Vatica for support
- Setup and configure VPN's, as well as troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Assist end users with software support such as installation, removal, and configuration
Requirements
- 2+ years of recent relevant experience and/or a degree in IT
- Experience with Software Setup for remote environments
- Working knowledge of networking concepts and related protocols such as DNS, DHCP, and NAT
- Demonstrated intermediate working knowledge of Windows 10 ecosystem
- Desire to build or continue a career in the IT industry
- A passion for great customer service and a desire to help those that need it whether they be customers or colleagues
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to work through a problem in a logical fashion
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a remote environment
- Attention to detail and an awareness of context
- Comfortability with remote access/remote support tools
- Basic working knowledge of Office365

The salary for a position is typically determined by multiple factors such as the individual's qualifications, experience, skills, and location. The projected compensation range for the position may vary based on these factors and could range from $55,000 to $65,000 (annualized USD).
