Are you customer service oriented, driven, and want to grow in your IT career? At Frazier & Deeter, you will be part of IT professionals dedicated to serving our firm's needs. With our IT Team located in Atlanta, you will be representing our Team in the Nashville or Tampa office. The Help Desk Support Specialist will provide general upkeep and maintenance of our industry-specific systems and equipment and serve as the primary contact for desktop and help desk services. The Help Desk Support Specialist will report directly to the IT support manager.

Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Monitors and utilizes helpdesk ticketing system to effectively communicate with other team members
  • Assists with configuring, deploying, and supporting IT equipment, applications, systems, and services across Frazier & Deeter
  • Responds to inquiries and requests for technical support while providing direct assistance and issue resolution to users.
  • Performs user and account administration (e.g., provisioning and deprovisioning accounts, group assignments, and inputting and updating user information).
  • Collaborates with other IT staff to develop and improve IT and helpdesk workflows and processes, including the creation and maintenance of supporting documentation.
  • Provides in-person support, including set up and take down of various IT components
  • Responsible for supporting local site moves; addition and changes associated with new hires and departmental transfers. This includes creation/modification of network user accounts and workstation setup.

Requirements:Ā 

  • A+ Certification, preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience troubleshooting systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or related field preferred
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills - able to explain technology to end usersĀ 
  • Ability to work independently and to multi-task
