IT Concepts is looking for an IT Support Specialist to support our corporate office. This position is a hybrid position that requires both on-site (Vienna, VA) and remote work capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily responses to user requests for IT support services by providing IT support to users both onsite and in remote locations
  • Work with senior technical managers and staff to provide support for application design (including systems requirements), development, testing, and maintenance support
  • Develop, maintain, and use applications in Workstation/Local Area Network (IWS/LAN) environments. Maintains and supports applications, computer and/or network operating systems, and other system software
  • Image, configure and deploy workstations and laptops, and install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and network printers
  • Provide administration support for SharePoint including: Customizing SharePoint web pages, creating custom workflows using SharePoint Designer
  • Managing SharePoint content in lists and libraries
  • Migrating SharePoint sites from one location to another
  • Managing SharePoint site permissions
  • Setup, configure, administer, support and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange email accounts
  • Create, support, administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange distribution lists, individual and group mailboxes, and move mailboxes, user accounts across domains and update user information in the Global Address List
  • Support, administer and troubleshoot issues with Windows Operating Systems, Adobe, and Microsoft software, Office 365 including but not limited to Outlook including personal folders, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint Designer, and similar
  • Install, support and troubleshoot third-party auxiliary software
  • Provide setup and support of Windows file, print and database servers including setup and administration of file shares and manage, support and troubleshoot file and folder permissions
  • Troubleshoot network, internetintranet and wireless network connectivity issues
  • Provide iPhone / Android setup, configuration, troubleshooting and provide onsite and remote support for iPhone / Android users; and Create technical documentation such as "how to" documents

Requirements

  • Expertise with Windows OS
  • iOS and Android device support
  • Basic knowledge of networking, router, and switch management
  • Laptop hardware/software troubleshooting and/or repair
  • Inventory management including but not limited to provisioning and refurbishing laptops
  • Knowledge of VOIP systems and hardware
  • Maintain office security, including management of electronic entry system and surveillance system
  • Installation and maintenance of various electronic peripherals such as monitors, TV, tablets, etc.
  • Other miscellaneous IT/office support

Highly Preferred:

  • Experience with Office 365 cloud services including Azure and Intune
  • Experience with Mac OS X
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with WordPress

Possible travel within 15 miles of office:

  • UPS and/or other shipping drop off locations
  • Local retailer for electronic hardware
  • Shredding services
