Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and assistance to our employees and clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, AV, network, and systems. This role may take on team-wide projects to push forward company initiatives. You will be required to provide excellent customer service by communicating technical solutions in a clear and concise manner. 

In addition to the responsibilities above you may be required to contribute to projects as a technical resource.

Qualifications

What you'll get to do:

  • First and second level tech support for HQ and retail leadership staff. 
  • Provide technical support to employees and clients via phone, chat, email, and in-person. 
  • Distribute hardware and software. 
  • Participate in IT projects, driving efforts and providing input as required. 
  • Work with vendors and partners where necessary to troubleshoot incidents/problem and fulfil business demands. 
  • Ensure all clients (Windows, MacOS and iOS) are managed through our management platforms (InTune or JAMF) and meet our security baselines and standards. 
  • Own incidents through to completion ensuring we find permanent solutions to problems that occur. 
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, AV, network, and systems issues. 
  • Install and configure software and hardware for workstations and servers. 
  • Support and maintain conference room and AV technologies. 
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, user manuals and knowledgebase articles. 
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to provide timely resolutions to technical issues. 
  • Conduct routine system maintenance tasks, including backups and updates. 
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating technical solutions in a clear and concise manner. 

Who you are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred. 
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or related field. 
  • Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and remote desktop tools. 
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs. 
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including printers, scanners, and mobile devices. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems. 
  • Experience working within fast paced rapidly growing company 
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple projects at once and maintain documentation and reporting 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.

The salary range for this role is $75,000 per year - $88,000 per year.
