IT Support Technician (Hybrid)

Summary:

We’re looking to hire an IT Support Technician for our growing team! As our IT Support Technician, you will be the go-to person for Help Desk tickets for Multi Media and its subsidiaries and help support coworkers with software and hardware issues. You’ll also work with various devices and operating systems like MacOS, Windows, ChromeOS, iOS, streaming devices, and Linux!

This is a hybrid role, so travel to our Irvine office will be required 2-3 days per week.

What you’ll be doing:

• You’ll be the first point of contact for all Help Desk tickets, so you’ll triage tickets and update them with the appropriate current statuses on a daily basis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware-related computer workstation issues on macOS, ChromeOS, and WinOS to provide direct desk-side support for internal customers
• Prepare devices for shipping & create FedEx shipping labels. Follow up on previous shipments as needed.
• Wipe and prepare various devices for reissue or repair.

Skills you already have:

• You’ve performed macOS Hardware support in a remote-first environment.
• You‘ve shipped hardware devices and supplies through FedEx.
• You are familiar with macOS and Windows 10.
• You’ve worked in an environment where you’ve had the freedom to think independently.
• You’re a natural problem-solver who enjoys getting to the bottom of things.
