IT System Analyst

The IT Systems Analyst (BSA) supports the design, development, implementation and testing of enterprise applications to provide Boston Dynamics with optimal flexibility and operational efficiencies. The BSA will work with the Business Applications Team to deliver against the ongoing enterprise applications roadmap. They will lead all phases of requirements gathering, solution design, configuration (or development), testing activities, end-user training and application administration. The primary application platform is Salesforce and Rootstock, but this may be expanded to other business areas such as HR and IT Service Management.

We are looking for a Systems Analyst with a background in Salesforce development with experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain at this time.

Day to day activities

• Understand how Boston Dynamics operates and use this knowledge to provide a functional viewpoint for Manufacturing and Supply Chain applications.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, and translate requirements into Salesforce/Rootstock configuration or in some cases, write technical specifications.
• Provide system administration, project management, data management, application development, and technical support to all Salesforce/Rootstock end users.
• Support change management best practices, application testing and quality assurance activities to ensure new solutions are tested, communicated and deliver expected functionality, prior to implementation into the production environment.
• Advocate and implement policies for data governance to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
• Responsibilities are expected to be primarily with salesforce configuration and development activities for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory and Procurement. Having experience with a similar cloud ERP system like Netsuite,Sage, FinancialForce, Workday, or Oracle Cloud is a huge plus.
• Key business application functions include Rootstock (salesforce) (Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain), Customer Support, Sales and Marketing, New Product Introduction and Analytics.
• Manage multiple Salesforce sandboxes in a multi-tiered (Dev-QA-UAT-Prod) environment.

Desired skills

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience as a Systems Analyst including requirements definition, development and deployment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Salesforce Administrator, Configurator or Developer; deep knowledge and experience with Manufacturing systems is a must.
• Has participated in the successful delivery of multiple complex business applications into production, including ERP and CRM.
• Strong experience administering and growing a large-scale Salesforce Org
• Knowledge and experience with Rootstock, Oracle, SAP or NetSuite is helpful.
• Salesforce Certification Admin (Advanced Admin nice to have), Platform App Developer, and Platform DeveloperI (Platform DeveloperII nice to have)
• Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; a sense of humor is a must!
• Action-oriented, "can do" attitude demonstrating willingness to accept accountability and responsibility for individual actions.
