IT Systems Administrator

We are seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our dedicated IT team on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for ensuring the installation, operation, and security of Envoy Global' s physical, cloud (Azure), and electronic data infrastructure. This role will not only address the physical infrastructure of Envoy's headquarters, but also the networking and users/permissions in the Azure cloud.
As our successful IT Systems Administrator you will be required to:

• Implement IT projects that ensure infrastructure is 24x7 operational as well as cost effective.
• Manage Firewalls, Wireless, Tunnels, Azure VNets, Network Security Groups, VPN, DNS, Certificates, Encryption. Both On-Prem and in Azure.
• Install and maintain on-premise servers (Windows Server 20xx) and network equipment both physical and Hyper-V.
• Maintain backups for on-premise and Azure critical systems.
• Manage Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365 Email, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Create and maintain documentation including: Architectural Diagrams, Procedures, Policies, and Audits.
• Ensure 24x7 operations nd security KPIs have been met in accordance with Envoy Global's policies in security, logging (SIEM) and altert remediation.
• Active participant in yearly business continuity exercise.
• Proactive planning and organization to adjust to the flexible needs of Envoy Global's business.
• Work closely with Helpdesk, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure management, operability, and security of end user permissions, workstations, and devices.
• Maintain communications, process, and procedures with a geo-diverse IT staff.
• Installation, maintenance, and monitoring of network equipment, both physical and virtual.

To apply for this position, you will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• At least 2 years of cloud experience with a focus on networking and security, preferably in an Azure environment.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant IT work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field or relevant work experience in an IT Managed Services environment
• Desired Certifications: CCNA, CCSP, MCSE, ITIL, NIST, Azure Infrastructure/Architect (AZ-304,305,500,700).
• Strong, proven, experience with Cisco networking equipment including Wireless Access Points, POE Switches, Cisco Stack, ISPs, and Firewalls.
• Knowledge of cloud systems connectivity in a multi-region, hybrid environment.
• Demostratable knowledge in networking and network security, including: OSI, encryption, TCP/UDP, DNS, IDP/SAML, Routing tables, BGP, VPN, 802.11, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Proxy Servers.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining IDS/IPS systems as well as physical and virtual firewalls (Cisco/Palo Alto Preferred).
• Strong experience in maintaining and provisioning Active Directory, including: Group Policies, Sites, DHCP/DNS, Attributes, Profiles, Schemas, Organizational Units (OU), Domains, Certificate Services, Federation, and Azure Integrations (AzConnect).
• Understand security and compliance requirements and controls as it relates to Cloud services and regions, in particular NIST 800, SOC2, ISO 27001.
• Strong administration of Microsoft Office 365 products, in particular Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint/OneDrive
• Knowledge of Windows 10+, Server 2016+ administration in an Active Directory/Azure Active Directory environment.
• Experience with and understanding of cloud PAAS systems (SQL, Blob, VNETs, Storage, Kubernetes), specifically networking, connectivity, and security requirements.
• Familiarity with managing 3 rd party PAAS storage systems, (Egnyte, Box, S3).
• Understanding of Change Management as well as the role of IT in Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
• Excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to expand knowledge and learn new technologies.
• Be available 24x7 to assist in operational or security incidents.
