Job Description
VRI, a Modivcare service is looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing software, and hardware, as well as first-level end-user support. You will rely on procedures, instructions, documentation, experience, and judgment to identify, research, and resolve technical problems. The Systems Administrator works independently and uses discretionary judgment to manage applications and systems.

- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues VRI users encounter.
- Monitor, manage, configure, install, and troubleshoot client-based computer OS.
- Install, connect, configure, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on systems located on any of the separate networks for the operating system, software, and hardware.
- Process and inventory incoming hardware returned from remote users and prepare equipment for shipping to new hires.
- Monitor workstation and hardware utilization capacity, plan for scheduled replacement and accommodate the needs of new employees, including tracking equipment for new and terminated employees.
- Provide support for security software and ensure endpoints are kept current with security patches.
- Manage the VRI helpdesk support system for VRI.
- Manage and maintain user and shared mailboxes.
- Manage and maintain active directory users and group policies.
- Support IT team as needed; i.e., team projects/rollouts, hardware/software support, etc.
- Troubleshoot softphone and telephony API issues.
- Provide 24/7 on-call coverage as needed as part of a weekly rotation.
- Meet all ticketing metrics monthly.
- Be involvement in special projects as assigned.

- Associates or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is a plus. Industry recognized certifications or experience also considered.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in providing desktop support in a Microsoft environment
- At least 1-2 years of experience providing server and network support in an Enterprise environment utilizing both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization
- A technology advocate and help to identify technical opportunities that will enhance the end-user experience
- Demonstrated experience with Windows 10 or 11, Microsoft Office 2013/2016/Office 365.
- Experience with Automation via PowerShell, and other CLI and Microsoft technologies a plus
- Cisco communications manager experience a plus
- Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems
- High standards coupled with accountability and ownership for your work
- A strong work ethic with the willingness and drive to succeed
- Ability to work well within a team and highly collaborative environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organization and planning skills with the ability to manage priorities and commitments in a productive manner
- Ability to communicate with vendors for software related bugs/issues with 3rd party software
Salary: $55,000 - $70,000/annually
