IT Systems Administrator
The IT Systems administrator will be responsible for planning, maintenance, deployment and management of IT assets in the cloud, on prem, and globally deployed endpoints in a dual OS environment (macOS and Windows). Focus on endpoint security, patching, hardening, inventory and other management. Strengths in automated deployment and policies using cloud management tools are desired. Server patching and maintenance, change management review, trouble ticket management (triage, assignment and closing) are additional daily challenges. This role will be working with both the tier 1 and tier 2 IT teams to support end users, projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities:Â
- Endpoint management including provisioning, deployment, software packaging, scripting, and patching of endpoints using cloud management tools
- Provide Helpdesk level II troubleshooting and solutions via a ticketing system, in person office visits, chat sessions, phone calls, and emails from internal employees
- Perform diagnostics on hardware and software problems as related to end user equipmentÂ
- Make recommendations to IT manager for procuring new equipment and peripherals as needed
- Occasional interaction with 3rd party support vendors for advanced troubleshooting
- Skilled in AD/Azure user and group management
- Offboarding all departing employees
- Support and setup of A/V equipment in conference rooms and for company meetingsÂ
- Inventory and Asset management and maintenance as machines are provisioned and retired from useÂ
Qualifications:Â
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar roleÂ
- Strong experience in Windows 10+ laptop environment with demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Intune endpoint management
- Office365, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint admin experience
- Strong experience in Apple/Mac environment with demonstrated Mac skills related to both hardware and softwareÂ
- Strong working knowledge with JAMF cloud management for Mac
- PowerShell scripting and automation scripting
- Familiarity and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of Active Directory
- VOIP phone experience
- Strong skills with network printingÂ
- Basic networking concepts like DHCP, LAN and Wi-Fi networking setup and troubleshootingÂ
- Experience with A/V equipment and conferencing software like Zoom Teams
