IT Systems Administrator

• Executes all position responsibilities in alignment with Slingshot’s core values, mission, and purpose
• Manage and troubleshoot corporate technology systems
• Monitor performance of software and hardware, proactively upgrade systems and infrastructure as needed 
• Develop and implement project plans for new applications to ensure smooth deployment 
• Provision and train new systems users 
• Educate users on IT support processes and procedures, provide feedback and input to improve processes and user experience
• Provide second-tier and backup employee technical support
• Ensure applications are configured to be compliant with NIST 800-171 and CMMC Level 3 requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of the responsibilities listed above)

• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances

• 3+ years of experience in an IT system administration role
• Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services)
• Experience administering a remote work environment
• Working knowledge of the configuration and management of MacOS, Windows, and Linux distributions
• Experience effectively developing, implementing, and/or improving helpdesk and IT operations
• Ability to work independently and take action with minimal supervision

• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Experience verifying security controls in accordance with government requirements
• Experience with scanning for vulnerabilities, and continuously monitoring various (Mac, Windows, Linux, and mobile devices) computer systems and environments
