REMOTE IT SYSTEMS ANALYST
The IT Systems Analyst provides application development and operational IT support services for the enterprise-wide Human Resources application portfolio. The IT Systems Analyst partners with the HR community and the global HRIT and HRIS organizations at all levels to determine business requirements and technology-based solutions. Individual contributor in system development activities as it relates to the solution delivery and operational support of the global HR applications in scope for the Global HRIT team.
Job Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing security controls within the Human Resource system, such as role-based access.
- Collaborating with the internal audit team to ensure that security policies and controls are aligned with company policies and regulations.
- Developing and maintaining security policies and procedures for the Human Resource system.
- Conducting regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Supporting system upgrades and other system changes from a security perspective.
- Audit Planning: Plan and prepare audit programs and schedules to ensure that audits are conducted in accordance with established procedures and standards.
- Audit Execution: Perform audits of information technology systems, controls, and processes to evaluate their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare audit reports detailing findings and recommendations for improvement, and present reports to management and stakeholders.
- Follow-up: Monitor and follow-up on recommendations to ensure that identified issues are addressed and resolved in a timely and effective manner
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve audit processes and methodologies to ensure that they are aligned with best practices and industry standards.
- Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, quality assurance, and operations teams to plan and coordinate software releases.
- Release Management Process: Design and implement a release management process to ensure that software releases are managed in a consistent, efficient, and predictable manner.
- Documentation: Create and maintain release management documentation, including release notes, change logs, and deployment instructions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field may be required
- 3-5 yrs of experience of industry work experience in the fields of (Release Management, Business Analyst or Project Management).
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills are essential for the analyst position. They need to be able to communicate effectively with developers, managers and stakeholders to ensure that software releases are planned and executed efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: The analyst should have a keen eye for detail and be able to identify issues that may arise during the software release process.
- Analytical Skills: The analyst should be able to analyze data and metrics to identify trends, potential issues, and help determine resolutions.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The analyst should have good problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the software release process.
- Technical skills: The analysts should have a solid understanding of databases, spreadsheets, and audit procedures, and other data analysis tools. With strong understanding of software development principles, source control management, and software testing methodologies.
- Adaptability: The analysts must be able to adapt to changes in a fast-paced business environment and be able to work under pressure.
